These tapestries are produced with a perfect weight of 200 thread count for a great dyeing surface. Not too heavy for good dye penetration, but not light and wimpy. 200 Thread count is a nice weight that gives you great control of where your dye is spreading on the fabric. All four sides are sewn using cotton threads, with a 1cm folded and sewn border that frames the edges nicely with no unraveling. These tapestries dye completely with no white border stitching showing through. Measurements are made before washing and the squares will shrink a few inches in the dyeing/washout process. 

Edges are sewn with cotton threads.
